Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress who achieved recognition for her performance in Hum Aapke hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. She began her career in the late 1980s, and rose to prominence with her performance in the movie Tezaab. In it, she was a part of the cast with famous actor Anil Kapoor. She then acted alongside Aamir as part of Dil. She was born into an Mumbai middle class family. She began to dance at a very young age. While she was young, she started acting but struggled as many films she made were unpopular. The actress gained fame and was one of India's top film actresses. After marriage, she had a career break before returning to entertainment. She was also a crucial role in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women throughout India. Dixit is nominated to win an additional fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India has been bestowed on Dixit. Her social work is also well-known.
