Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was in her teens, Rosalia has worked in both the traditional and popular music. Yet, her musical interests also extend to different genres like hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist that is extremely talented, described her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned taste. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was made available in 2018, and had a huge commercial and critical reception. After Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017, she received the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and she also won the Grammy. The single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Her third long-player Motomami has collaborations on songwriting with many artists and producers including Cory Henry and James Blake. It came out on the 20th of March, 2022 just after the appearance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the program. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was also the first woman to be awarded both of these awards.
