MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the top of the charts, being ranked eighth on the Top Latin Albums chart. He then joined Ozuna for his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he debuted the album that charted Dopamina and co-wrote Mala Influencia along with Noriel. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her smash streaming track Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was first released in 2023. His mother and brother also played instruments when Turizo was born. According to him, music was an integral element of his existence. Growing up, he instructed to perform on the piano, saxophone and guitar. His first career choice was to be a veterinarian however, his brother Julian convinced him to study how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The result was realizing that he had talents for singing, changed his path in life.
