Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. She was raised listening to traditional, old boleros and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, and the dramatic shows that she attends. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16, under the direction by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. In 2000, she relocated to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she returned to her home in southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her passion and passion for music. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
